Warren Hall, Cornell

This rather small patch of space hidden behind Warren Hall sits on the edge of the woods. The current condition is sparse, jagged, and mostly dead. I proposed a “Woven Woodland” garden that includes mostly native, non-invasive plants that are deer resistant, pest and disease free, prefer full sun to part sun, and most importantly, are representative of the native wooded area. Like a fabric, these plants are layered in a way that addresses various heights, textures, and colors for full-season interest.
